Is Woolsocks a bank?

The Woolsocks app gives you a new way to manage your finances!

We are not a bank, but we do offer a way to connect your existing bank accounts.

How you can connect your bank accounts?

It doesn't matter if you have a single account at one bank or many accounts with multiple banks.
You choose which accounts you want to link and our partner BudgetBakers will gather them together so that you can view them all in Woolsocks.

BudgetBakers shows your transactions and account balances to you. They categorise your recurring costs, spending, and income into meaningful groups, from which we generate useful insights.

With Woolsocks, you can get as much as 50% of the money you spend back. It's called cashback and Woolsocks gives it to you at over 35,000 stores.

How does it work?

If you connect your bank accounts to Woolsocks, we'll use your spending habits to find the best cashback deals for you. It's totally your call if you want to opt in. If you don't want the app to see your spending history, you'll still be able to get all the same deals – we just won't be able to personalise them for you.

Our Savings Socks give you a way to save money, reach your savings goals, and turn your dreams into a reality.

How do we help you save money?

Whatever you are dreaming of – a kitchen refurb, a weekend away, new workout gear – you can make and name a Savings Sock especially for that goal. Your sock comes with its own IBAN, so transferring money in and out is quick and easy. And, coming very soon: multiple Savings Socks, so each of your goals has a pot of its own.

Woolsocks is the free financial app that lets you earn cashback and turn it into donations for good causes, from global charities to your local football team.

How can you donate?

When you shop with Woolsocks, you can earn cashback, meaning you get a little money back for every bit you spend. And that cashback can go automatically to whatever cause you choose, from a global charitable organization to a local club that could use a hand getting financially healthy post-pandemic. Or, mix and match to spread the love. It’s a small gesture that adds up to seismic change.
