My Cashback Sock balance is suddenly negative, what should I do?

Cashback Sock balances reflect how much cashback you've earned, how much has been paid out already, and how much is pending merchant approval. Any changes to these factors can influence your balance.

When you use instant payout, we calculate your limit based on your connected bank account. This means when you disconnect this bank account, your Cashback Sock balance may reflect this change. If this happens to you, just follow these steps: 

  1. Disable instant payout
  2. Restart the app
  3. Reconnect your previously connected bank account
  4. Reactivate instant payout

Your Cashback Sock balance should now be the same as it was previously. If you've followed these steps but your balance is still negative, get in contact with our customer support team.
