After making an online purchase and clicking through to earn online cashback, it typically takes a few days before the cashback is registered as "Pending". It then takes a few more weeks (sometimes months) before your cashback is Approved.
We know it can be hard to wait that long for your cashback, so we also offer you the option to activate Instant Payout. With this feature, you can already pay out part of your Pending cashback — completely free. You'll receive the amount on your balance within minutes, instead of waiting weeks for approval. Please keep in mind that it can still take up to 7 days for the amount to move from your balance to your bank account — Instant Payout speeds up the approval process, not the bank transfer.
In other words, the cashback is paid out to you in advance. If the store eventually determines that your transaction is not eligible for cashback, the paid-out amount will be reclaimed. This can be offset against new cashback you earn, or — if you stay negative for an extended period — via a direct debit at the beginning of the month. You'll be notified in advance by email if this applies to you. After that, your balance will be positive again.
